Also, you can move your memory dimms from slot 1 and 2 to 5 and 6 to test whether or not the issue is on memory slot, not the dimms.<br />

Thanks very much for comments K...did try to &nbsp;re-seat....new DIMMS are en route...this is a production server...cannot perform any further work until the off / overnight hours...presently stable...should be resolved by early Fri. &nbsp; &nbsp;

HP Proliant DL380 G4 Degraded Memory

Servers are computing devices that are similar to desktop computers in that they have the same basic components, but are significantly different in size, configuration and purpose. Servers are usually accessed over a network, and many run unattended, without a computer monitor, input device, audio hardware or USB interfaces. Many servers do not have a graphical user interface (GUI), and are configured and managed remotely.
