Hey,

I have a javasript menu at the top of my page and as content I'm using telerik controls, radTabStrip within a radPane.  The prolem is that my menu which is a show/hide div, is showing behind the radTabStrip.  I tried setting the z-index and playing with the visibility but nothing works.

Please help.

I just found this solution for another post and, though I'm not familar with telerik controls, thought this might apply to you as well... if telerik controls are anything like flash.

Give this a read:

Q: I have experienced a problem recently when designing a website; the flash banner was displaying on top of the CSS menu regardless of the stacking order (z-index).

A: The solution for this problem is using the parameter WMODE to allow layering of Flash content with DHTML layers. The parameter WMODE has 3 possible settings: window (default), transparent, or opaque. Setting WMODE to transparent or opaque will prevent the Flash object from playing in the top layer and allow you to adjust the stacking order of the movie within other layers of the HTML document.

Thanks bhwithun.  Telerik controls are not flash based and the problem I found was that I was using asp controls with telerik controls, which is supposed to be okay but...  Anyways, I played around with the z-index a little more and solved the problem.  For anybody who might come across the same problem this is a good resource: http://www.telerik.com/help/aspnet-ajax/controlling-absolute-positioning-with-zindex.html
