Make Drupal CCK Fields Visible to Users

I'm trying to create a site where visitors can post information about their interests and work skills in their profile. I installed Drupal and the CCK Modules. I can create content type and fields for them and the information is listed under the profile when I log in as the admin. However, the profile content tabs aren't showing up for any other users.

Make sure your permissions are set so that users can view the new CCK fields.  Each field can be individually shown or hidden by going to: example.com/admin/user/permissions

By default, new CCK fields are only visible to the site administrator.  You have to explicitly allow other user roles to view the fields.

bounsy,

Many Thanks! I've been working on getting CCK working for about a week now. I couldn't get past this problem. I went to Administer->User Management ->Permissions. Looks like I will eventually get it now. The fields are starting to show up.
