Juniper router default password

Can anyone tell me the default password for J2320 Juniper router? I believe it has Junos9.1

There is no password assigned out of the box. You assign a root password at initial configuration.

actually, we never assigned any password initially, but what happened is that the router got rebooted due to some power failure and its asking for login/password now....so we dont really know what to do

The default username is root with no password. You must change this during initial configuration or the system does not accept the configuration.
Sooo, there must have been a password assigned at initial configuration. Here is a link with instructions for recovering the root password.
