Man, the premissions and such in windows 7 is giving me fits, especially in regaurds to MS OneNote, (it's making me share each folder within the package) and offllne syncing. To get some OneNote books to sync I ended up sharing each folder, and I guess I went too far becuase now each componet shows up in my Network Neigborhood. How much sharing is required to just do a home network on certain folders? Did I need to change the advanced sharing opitions? When I share with "everybody" is that making it show in Network Neighboorhood ( or whatever it's called in Win 7)? Should I always be the "owner?"
thanks

I honestly don't have personal experience with this.... but since you've received no response (and I know this is for XP) but thought this MAY help.... if not, my apologies

ok, didn't really find the softer easier way I'd hoped. Ended up just changed properties on the individual folders, as it seems the OneNote properties don't inherit well. If I mach the share users with the premission user, things work ok. thank you!
