Hi

I am trying to build a data grid in PHP using AJAX. I need to be able to see records, and edit  and update them from the grid using AJAX. I cannot find that many helpful examples.

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

The site is a little hard to follow and I was unsuccessful downloading the code from one of the mirrors. Let me try the mirror link above.

Excellent got the datagrid working, thanx!

However...do you know how to make a field in the datagrid store values in a combo box, instead of just editing text. I dont want to give users too much control

Which class are you using?

It should be quite simple, edit the js so it send the selected value of the combobox.
<?php

if($data_is_for_combobox){

    $combobox = '<select name="combobox_name">';

    foreach($combo_items as $item){

         $combobox .= "\n<option value=\"{$item}\">{$item}</option>";

    }

    $combobox .= "\n</select>";

}
