Sharepoint Document Libary Folder Creation FAILS
Shortcut url's copied from some of the folders within a document library aren't working. But some are. So i tried to create a new folder and see if it was something in the name causing the lack of action when clicking the shortcut url's. However, i get this page when attempting to create a folder:
An unexpected error has occurred.
Web Parts Maintenance Page: If you have permission, you can use this page to temporarily close Web Parts or remove personal settings. For more information, contact your site administrator.
Any ideas?! In my opinion this is MESSED UP!

So we found a workaround:
Copy the shortcute of one of the files within the folder and trim it so just the folder opens. Copying a shortcut by rclicking the file folder doesn't open the folder, it opens only as deep as the document library.
As for creating folders, now i can. For some reason the 'Web Part Maintenance Page' doesn't show when i click New>Folder in the doc library toolbar. Go figure.
In the interests of other errors and malfunctions that might arise, What would be the element within which to insert stacktrace=true?

I solved the situation mostly myself, but appreciate the input of other contributors such as MsShadow.
Are you using SQL Express?
If you want a more detailed error, check
c:\program files\common files\microsoft shared\web server extensions\12\logs log files for more information, or change the web.config from the web application containing the page and put customerrors off and stacktrace=true
