DHCP Problem with 3Com SuperStack with Fiber - No UDP 67 broadcast on fiber
Good day.
I have 2x 3COM superstack with fiber link connected between the stacks and I had to reset them to factory default. Both models for fiber are 4228G and now the traffic cannot pass from one to another. I understood there was 3 VLANs configured before from another tech but obviously, the links kept on going up and down randomly, therefore explaining why I have decided to reset to factory default.
What I really want to do is have the Switch act as 2x L2 Dumb switch with the least amount of software from 3COM. My logic was to do a reset to factory default on both....However, now there is no communication going on between the stacks. There is no ports that are tagged and I want everything to run on VLAN 1(default) because the DHCP is on the same subnet. What must I do to have those 2 fiber link appear as on the same subnet.
Thank you in advance.
