DNS server does not reslove
Hi,
Actually my local dns server does not reslvoe some internet web sites.
i have entered publc dns entry but our client does not browse web sites and when i have entered public dns entries on local machin then web site is working fine.
please provide me the best solutions...

1. in forward configuration- entered the Public DNS entries
2. i have checked on dns server but same problem on dns server.
3. when ran neslookup comand then its provide my DNS server.

is you dns server connected to the internet ? please check if there is any issue with internet connectivity.
Also you can try by removing the public DNS entry from the forwarder then it will take the root hints as the forwarder

I have checked internet is working fine ..what is use of root hints ?
Root hints are pointers to top level DNS servers on the internet

still same problem...nd when i ran nslookup command then it showed RTO..find the details,,

which websites you have this problem?

can u tell what is the problem ?

problem is found from my side. now its working fine
1. what is the forwarder configuration in your dns server ?
2. Are you able to resolve those sites from your dns server its self.
3. Kindly update the nslookup result for the same from you client machine.
