Viewport options will now show up in AutoCAD

Usually when I select a viewport, the word "Viewport" appears in the selection drop-down box at the top of the properties palette. Now when I select any viewport, the drop-down is blank. It doesn't even have a "No selection" dialog in the box. Along with that, it is also missing most of the misc tools.

Is this drawing specific or across any drawing, including new drawings?

What does it do when you select other object types?

When you select the Viewport and click the drop down list, are there other entries in the drop down list?

If it's across all drawings, have another user log into the system with their user account and see if it's specific to your windows profile or on the entire system.

Have you tried running an AUDIT or tried RECOVERing the drawing?

Also, can you post a screen cap of the properties dialog?
PS: Also run the LIST command on the selected viewport and do a screen cap of the TEXT window that displays the results.

Yea...sometimes repair or even "reinstall" doesn't do quite the same thing as a complete uninstall and reinstall....of course, those things you typically do to save time to prevent a full uninstall and reinstall but by the time you find they didn't do it, a full uninstal and reinstall would have been quicker.  You just never know.
