Web Based Active directory integrated FTP Server

Hi All,

has anybody come across a file transfer application that works a little bit like Outlook Web Access. I invisage a user at their home PC enters a website address:

https://ftp.blossomhouseschool.co.uk/ftp

or something similiar and a logon screen appears (just like OWA) - the user logons on which is authenticated by Active Directory and then they can transfer files from work to home (or vice versa) to which they have access too.

Ideally, the user interface also needs to be really intuitive (as good as OWA).

Somebody out there must have developed this software...

Does anything like this exist in Windows Server 2008 yet?

Many thanks,
Michael Dupree

Hi Pyrrus33,

thank you for your repsonse - that was a very useful document to read. However, my question (now that I think about it) was not technically as accurate as it should have been - I managed to find this site over the weekend and I think I'll get testing this software pretty soon.

Once again many thanks for your help.
