Creating a Hardware Raid HP Smart Array

I need help configuring a hardware raid with the HP Smart Array B110i Sata Raid Controller.

I have two drives installed the controller shows up in device manager but only one drive is being displayed?

To understand more about HW RAID you need to install ACU (Array Configuration Utility) that comes with the controller. Lauch ACU and you can see your two drives are in a RAID container that makes only one logical drive to be seen by the OS level. Here is the download link for ACU:

Is there anyway to check that this is indeed the case.

use the ACU as above an dit will tell you all about the controller and disk setup

I downloaded the ACU but it does not support this particular controller i.e. what the documentation says. After installing it did not find any supported documentation. Can you suggest any other options.
