Is there a good resource (website) that tells me what printers can use a given ink cartridge?  Particularly HP ink

Let's say I want to find a printer that uses HP ink# 940 (good cost per page).  Where can I find a list of printers where I can use that ink.

you can lookup the product on www.buy.com and when you scroll down on the product page it does include a compatibility list of all printers supported for that cartridge.

in the case of the 940, it seems only compatible with the officejet pro 8000 and 8500 series.

cheers

That will suffice for my needs for now - not quite what I was hoping for.  But thanks!

thanks :) I know, you'd probably wanted a list showing all cartridges and all models. Never seen such a thing tho would be nice :)

greetings,
