Does Anyone work with Harvard Graphics?

Hi EE,

a) How/why have you used Harvard Graphics?
b) How would you compare charts to Excel/Access?
c) Can you import data from external sources for graphing?

d) can HG communicate with Visual Basic/Access VBA?

I am receiving lots of great help from EE regarding Access graphs.
I just heard that a colleague in another dept uses an older version of Harvard Graphics,
and wanted to see if we should upgrade to latest version.

tx, sandra

Hi LH,

tx for your reply...

Yes, I am working with Access, and I need more control of the graph...

I wonder If I could talk to HG programmatically via VB/VBA.

(I believe that one can talk to Adobe Acrobat from Access)

i might download trial to see HG....

Do you have any other bar chart software to recommend.

I need to draw and arrow to the bar that student falls into.
So if 10 courses, graph the 10 courses, and draw an arrow to the category that student falls into.

On Monday, I will try to show you a sample graph.
tx, sandra
As far as I know, there's no programmatic access to HG. It's an older program, I don't think they are doing a lot with it these days.
