I'm in process setup an evaluation PGP email encryption for our Exchange 2007.  We able to send email out but can not receive email from external domain. I had been worked with engineer from PGP but they could not tell what is the issue with. I have PGP universal server between the firewall and spam filter firewall. All the port requested from PGP server are open from the firewall. I'm not sure where is the issue, hopefully someone can help me out.

what are you using - their transparent gateway product?

should work ok - it needs access to the keyservers and to send-receive smtp, shouldn't need much more than that. do you get any errors from it?

hello Davehowe,

yes, I use PGP as our gateway email server ... what do you meant access to the keyservers? PGP engineer said it's our issue with networking and exchange email .. it's not issue with PGP.
PGP engineer looked at the error log from PGP server but couldn't tell where is the issue.

last I looked, the pgp gateway needed to be able to verify signatures, which requires access to the keyservers to obtain the keys for those signatures.

however, if pgp themselves can't interpret the error logs, its going to be hard for us to suggest a remedy without you even giving us that much.....
