RAS is a service that remotely allows you to access your computer.  It usually is not installed on a workstation -- unless you manually enabled it.

What is the exact error message that you are getting?  Look in the Windows Event Viewer and see if there are any errors in the Application Log or System Log pertaining to this.  If there are, please paste them here.

RAS is Remote Access Services for Windows XP.  This handles Dial-up, VPN, etc.  What type of errors are you getting?

If you are having an error, you need to delete the connection that was created and recreate it.

If this looks like something you would have on the PC, it seems not to be malware.
However, it would not hurt to submit it for online analysis at

Yes, why do you think it corrupt?  If legitimate you could reinstall the program that created it.
