We have a Visual Basic program that calls Bartender Software. We are running this program on a terminal server. Multiple copies of the bartend.exe program, are shown by a single user on the task manager.

This bartend.exe with multiple copies soon drags the server to a crawl. We kill the processes adn the server of course works good until a few hours later the process build up again.

Any idea on how to cure this via the OS, Bartender or Visual basic?

Thank You

We found and extra loop in the VB code was adding a second call to Bar tender with no close. So hence the memory leak of all the BARTEND.EXE IN memory. If you get this problem check or have the programmer check their code, thoroughly.
