vb.net UDP send & Recieve
Hi All,
i am using vb2005 and .Net2
I am looking for a very good example of send & recieving data using UDP.
My scenario is i have 2 applications locally who need to talk with each other app1 will tell app2 to do something then when app2 is finished it will tell app1 its status i.e ready for more work etc.
Is it possible for 2 apps to subscribe to the same sock or do i have to open 2 seperate ports in the apps one for sending & one for recieving.
Thanks
Zeus

Hi...
Forget about UDP, simply use .net Remoting.
You can find plenty of sources about it on the web.
