I created a new profile for the user, and it worked. &nbsp;Didn't have to do anything else after that to make it work.<br />

Trying to Uninstall SolidWorks 2009 and their support site tells me to delete some registry keys left behind in HKEY_CURRENT_USER<br />
some of the entries I can delete but there are some subfolders that when I try to delete them the systems shuts down and I when I turn it back on i get a message saying the system has recovered from a critical error. &nbsp; I have also tried to delete the keys in safe mode and tried to make a script to delete them but I get the same result.<br />
I could call SolidWorks support, but the answer from them is to reinstall Windows which is too time consuming and shouldn't be the only option.<br />
