Hi,

I recently bought a larger disk for my fedora machine only to find that I cant ghost to the new larger disk becasue of LVM.

Could someone please tell me how to simply swap the drives using ghost or dd or whatever app can copy LVM to new disk and still boot.

I've read that ghost can do it but you need to modify some grub stuff and boot parameters.
I am new to doing this so I have no idea what this means.

If someone could point me in direction of step by step, that would be great!

Why use LVM if you cant copy them? am i missing something??????

I saw that Parteg Magic 4 is able to backup\restore Linux volumes. Have you tried to use it?
I suspect that reinitializing GRUB will be required in any case but you can try it.
