I want to setup a database maintenance plan in SQL Server 2000 to a network drive.
The drive is map to my computer as a letter drive.
But when I start the Database Maintenance Plan and get to screen where I can chose the location to backup to.  The screen shows the local dirve and even USB drives connected, but it does not show the network.
The network drive shows in explore just fine.
How can I get the network drive to show up so I can get SQL 2000 server to use the database maintenance plan to show the network drive so I can back up to it.

It wont show up Network drives by default.

You have to specify UNC naming convention to use Network Shares like \\servername\path to access it.

Hope these snapshots help you out.
