Cannot Install Via Unipro VGA Driver

When I attempt to install the drivers for this chipset I get a n\message stating that it cannot install and directs me to a log file The contents are as follows:

I just downloaded that one and got the same error
Is this after a reinstall? If so did you install the chipset driver yet?

try updating the bios, you may need a newer version

I tried replacing the hdd and performing a fresh XP Pro install with the same results.  I also installed the chipset drivers first.

yep - just updated it to the latest version on the Gigabyte website....still no joy

so i think, you have a bad mobo.

you can always test if it runs a live Knoppix cd (different OS and drivers) :
ftp://ftp.kernel.org/pub/dist/knoppix/KNOPPIX_V6.0.1CD-2009-02-08-EN.iso

Ithink that you are right nobus as after i updated the bios the system has become unstable.  I will probably have to replace the mainboard.  I am downloading the iso that you sent and will let you know.

Thanks mobus.  The motherboard was cactus....I replaced and ghosted the image and all went ok.
