Sending a .pst file via email
Hi,
A long story short at one of our other offices we have a computer set up which has a pst file of a users email which i need to get hold of. We cant copy it to a shared network drive as the computer in question isnt and cant currently be connected to our network (part of the long story) and they have no flash disks, Cds etc to transfer it to another computer that is.
I had therefore planed to send it via email but when the user trys to attach it they get a message saying "The operation failed". We tried copy & paste and dragging it but the same message came up.
Is this likly to be due to corruption of the file / not having been exported correctly or can you not send pst files via email?
thanks for any help you can give.

Cheers Chris. As simple as that solution was it seems to be what i'm after. I never even thought of Outlook not liking the .pst extension. If i zip it or even change the extension to (for example) .doc and then send it and change it back it seems to work.
Thanks!

Thanks!
Glad to help ... and apologies as it looks as though I messed up on the caps lock in my post!
