Hi,
I am rendering my report in excel from reporting services. Sometimes, when a cell value contains mutiplelines of text, it just stops with the first line. I found a kind of work around in this link http://www.kodyaz.com/articles/reporting-services-excel-rendering-autogrow.aspx But it doesnt work everytime. I compared the xml with other reports where rendering is proper. I cant figure out what factor determines that excel rendering. Could some one advise on how to overcome that problem??
Thanks

When you have complex headers or multiple tables where your columns are not going to line up, the export to Excel is just not going to be pretty.  As they described in the article you referenced, we have had to readjust reports that the client has insisted be exported to Excel and try to carefully allign the headers or remove them completely moving into the main table as described.  There are still some instances where you just can't get it to do everything because of complexity.
