I have WSUS installing on a SBS2003 server on a network with 2 servers and 30 or so workstations. I have WSUS configured to automatically approve critical and security updates WSUS works fine except for that users are not prompted to install some updates (about 8% or so of them). (users do not have local admin rights but have power user rights) I do a monthly network audit and durning that, I see that WSUS shows some updates on workstations as not installed so I log in to the user account and see that they are not being prompted to install the updates. I then log in as a local administrator and then the update icon appears and I can install the missing updates. Any idea why this is?
