Active Directory - RDP login Domain

BobBarker_99 used Ask the Experts™
Hi, I'm new to active directory stuff, so please bear with me.

I have 2 user, each in a different group.

When I logon through RDP to myUserSupport, I can successfully log on as follows:
login: myDomain\myUserSupport
But when I login through RDP to myUserTech, I need to login as follows:
login: \myUserTech because myDomain\myUserTech fails

Under the account tab in properties they both have the exact same settings (@myDomain)
How can I make it so they both need to log in through myDomain?

Apparently I was missing .local at the end of my domain name.

myDomain.local took care of the problem.
