I am trying to add an email account in outlook 2007 on SBS 2003
We are trying to add  a second email profile on workstation connected to Exchange 2003.
I am logged in as a primary user, and when  I bring up outlook it is asking for a login. I type the users  or the Admin login: Server\admin and then password and I keep getting prompted. to readd the info. I went to another Domain remotely and had no problems connecting with another account.
Are there any issues with 2007? All workstations and servers have been updated.

If you go to Control Panel > Mail > You can edit the profile and add the email account there. Also, the prompt you're getting when launching Outlook is most likely looking for the login for the user's account in Exchange. The administrator will not have access to that mailbox unless the special deny attributes were removed.

Is there a way for me to restore deny attributes? I wanted to test the account.
The office manager lost the password to this account! So it looks like I am going to have to go to 3 workstations and change the password in outlook for this account on each workstaion that is using this email account.

Any reason why you simply haven't granted the users who need access the permission "Full Mailbox Access" ? That would remove the requirement to know the password and is more efficient than having to login.

it was a rights issue.
