My websphere server is running at 9080 port whereas when i went  to server overiew section you suggested i also see there similar to your screenshot like
RMI 2809, SOAP 8880. I wonder why 9080 does not show initially. Which one shall i change RMI port or SOAP related one. Please advise

ahhh ok I see what you're trying to change. Becareful when you make these changes so that you don't end up having conflicts with other ports. But here where you need to go...
This folder structure is an example and may be different than yours
c:\[AppServer_root]\profiles\wp_profile\config\cells\[NodeCell]\nodes\serverindex.xml
Basically you need to look for serverindex.xml
Here's a link to the infocenter where all the ports are listed and which file they're in.

ok so in the D:\Program Files\IBM...\SDP70\runtimes\base_v6_stub\profiles\default\config\cells\[pcname]Node01Cell\nodes\localhost\serverindex.xml
try looking around that folder structure. let me know what you find or get stuck.
