I'm trying to register an older DLL to import some extra functions within Crystal Reports.  When I use regsvr32, it returnd the following error:
u2ltdate.dll was loaded, but the DllRegisterServer entry point was not found.  The file cannot be registered.

This is being done using an account that has admin access.  Any suggestions would be great!

Try using regasm.exe to register the legacy dll instead of regsvr32:

http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/tzat5yw6(VS.71).aspx

I've had to use it in the past to register a custom COM component because I got the same error with regsvr32 and looked it up online at the time. I can't say for certain this would work for Crystal, but it's worth a shot!
I don't think you need to register that DLL.
Going by https://forums.sdn.sap.com/thread.jspa?threadID=1272793 it possibly is not even a COM dll.
Where you put it however is important.

The Common/....../bin seems to be the place for it to be put.
