Symantec Ghost 2003
Dear All,
I am totaly new with symantec ghost but all i need to do is to take an image of any pc on the network and save it on a network drive.
I created a standard boot package but when i start to save the image i couldnt find any network drive,just the CD ROM and the USB!!!
can you help me of how i can do this

I am using Symantec Ghost Solution Suite.Sorry for the confusion
Ah! That's better then.
When you made the boot disk (which I hope you did), did you use the relevant driver for the network card in your computer?
If not, then you have to choose the right one for your NIC (usually the NDIS driver), or downlaod the right driver and install that to the server and then create the boot disk.
You will also get the option to map a drive to a share on the server. If you make sure you choose this option, then you should be able to see another drive letter to put your image on.
Any problems, please come back.

Excellent news - well done.
Norton Ghost won't let you create an image to a Network Drive, for that you need a corporate version such as Ghost Solution Suite.

If you are using Norton Ghost, then it's Local USB drives or internal HDD's only I'm afraid.
