Default Admin password for Dell Latitude D810, to restore laptop.

I have a DELL Latitude D810, and do not have the admin password for the local machine, running XP Pro.

I have a need to restore the laptop with Recovery Console; but I am in need of the admin password.

This was a refurbished Dell Laptop, so it just came pre-packed right from Dell.

Dell is closed in the weekend, for customer service.

Is there a default Dell password for administrators?

I already tried admin, password, dell, Dell etc.

Any ideas? thanks

There shouldn't be any password.
The recovery consoles admin password should be blank(just press enter when asked for it) from the factory, unless an admin password was set during xp's out of the box setup.

i tried blank, it says that is not right.

as far i know, after we got the refurbished straight from Dell, we never configured an admin password.

is it possible to override this somehow to start the repair console?

You can try to boot with the UBCD which includes a password resetting tool. But if it asks for a password there is probably something more wrong. Why don't you just reinstall the OS?
