Microsoft Access to open database automatically when Access is started

I know this might sound like an unusual request but is there a way to automate events or macros when Microsoft Access is started without opening a particular database.   I have a client that when he opens Microsoft Access then he wants a particular database to open each time.  Can you somehow set an autoexec for the entire program of Access and not a particular database?

Sorry for the inconvenience - but I never utilized Command Lines - is there a way to integrate a Command Line directly into the MSACCESS.Exe?

Not really.  Not directly.  That's kind of what the command line does.  And this will basically do what the client wants.  Instead of opening Access off of the Start button ... you create a short cut utilizing the command line.  You can put this shortcut in multiple places for that matter.

If your client is running 2007 you can do it from the Access Options

First open the database client needs to open on start up then
File->Acess Options->Advanced-> Click on Open Last used Database when Access Starts

I think 2007 was the first version to do this!!

The customer does not want a shortcut unfortunately.  If he was okay with shortcut then we could just create a shortcut to the database.  Maybe Access cannot do it but I need to control this database opening when MSACCESS.EXE is started.  Any other options?
