There are several good articles on the subject

How to use Group Policy to remotely install software in Windows Server 2003
http://downloads.techrepublic.com.com/abstract.aspx?docid=173156
That guide is from a very good GP book. worth downloading.
How big is your network? If it is large there are tools that are better for deploying software (SMS/SCCM, Altiris)  but those are usually used in larger places that have money to spend.
Thanks

You could probable script the installs.... but WHY not use Group Policy?  It's built for this and does it very well.  You can also deploy them by OU... and deploy to only a few machines at a time if you need to test or something.

You're question asked how to do it through group policy - now you want to do it without group policy?  That doesn't make sense...

I did not give an opinion - I analyzed your question and followup comment and pointed out a serious inconsistency.  I did not offer an opinion.

Ask a different question - your question was, QUOTE "I would like to deply msi files using group policy"

And of course there are PLENTY of other ways to do it... BUT the vast majority are going to involve the purchase of a third party product that does software deployment.
