How can I clear offline sync files from cache in Windows Sync Program?
I've got some old files and even an old computor showing up as "discontected" in my offline files that I can't seem to delete.
I found these insturctions below on-line but basically it just turned off the "always available" feature. When I reversed the registry hack the unwanted files were still there.
Things I've tried:
I've toggled off/on the offline features
Just deleting them from the "manage offline files" dialog
This below suggestion -
"To reset the offline files cache, perform the following steps(note - you'll
lose everything that you made available offline on the client):
1.. In registry, create a DWORD value called FormatDatabase under
HKLM\System\CurrentControl Set\Servic es\CSC\Par ameters. To this value, assign
the value of 1.
2.. Restart the computer."

Very helpful, but one question.
The thread say add a Dword - which in the regestry is 32 bit
there is an option to add a qword for 64 bit.
I'm on a 64 bit system, which do you think I should use?
