Two domain controllers and two subents
I currently have a windows server 2003 domain controller at site a. I am adding another domain controller at site b which has an alwasy on vpn-tunnel. Site a- has ip of 10.X.X.X and site b has ip of 192.168.X.X. How can I setuo the backup domain controller at site b to communciate with site a. I also would want the clients on site b to access site b domain controller first and of course site a to access sites a domain controller firs.t I am not sure how to do this.

Can anyoen give me some instructions on setting up the DNS at both loactions. I will be adding the new domain controller at site b wich is on 192.168.10.x/24 and will need to comuu nicate with 192.168.5.x/24. I have a VPN tunnel confiqured over two T1 lines now. I can ping Ip addreses onboth sides.
Within active directory sites and services you need to setup your different sites then create your subnets and IP connections. If you do them in the order u gave listed then the wizards are fairly straight forward.
You then need to move the domain controllers into the correct sites and then right click on properties of NTDS settings under each domain controller name and ensure the global catalogue option is checked.
