DNS setup for Web Hosting

Hi,
I am looking for any recommended best practices, setup guides, etc. I have a book and help files. But, I thought I would check here first for any tips to reduce hair pulling, lol. :)

I have 2 servers running Windows 2008 Server Standard
Server 1: IIS, Primary DNS
Server 2: SMTP, POP3, Secondary DNS
Each server is behind a Juniper firewall and is assigned an internal IP range mapped to external IPs from my datacenter ISP. The firewall also does DNS proxy to the ISP DNS IPs.

I am looking to configure the DNS for Web hosting. I will also act as my own nameserver as I do now. I am in the process of migrating from one datacenter to another. However, this time I am using my own firewall (setup complete for that) and my own DNS.

are you talking about just internal access to internally hosted sites? or outside world having access to your hosted sites?

ASKER

Yes these are public websites. Outside people will have access to the site, FTP, email, etc.
