Need to change OS from VISTA to XP Prof on Toshiba laptop but cannot load SATA drivers

I have a customer's Toshiba A205-S5804 laptop with VISTA Home Premium installed and the customer needs XP Professiona installed instead since they HATE Vista.  I've formatted the HDD and installed the new OS with a LEGALLY purchased copy of XP Prof (COA label and original CD) using another Desktop system in our office .. but now the laptop system does not bootup properly since the SATA drivers cannot be loaded.  I called Toshiba support and they said the Intel Matrix Drivers must be installed DURING the OS reload process (press F6 to install drivers) but it's a 22 MB file and required a FLOPPY disk drive to install (according to Toshiba Support).  First, I don't have an external FDD and a 22 MB file wouldn't fit on a 1.44 MB FDD anyway.
So HOW do I get these SATA drivers onto the HDD to make the laptop bootup properly???

Thanks,
Shane

As stated in the link ComputerTechie posted, use nLite (www.nliteos.com) to slipstream the drivers into a new CD.

This looks good but it's for a Presario laptop and not a Toshiba .. will these same SATA drivers work for the Toshiba A205-S5804 model?
Probably not - but the point is, he's documenting how he did it - use the procedure but substitute the appropriate drivers.
I believe I understand the process now .. I'm still searching for the proper drivers on the Intel site .. found a FDD setup driver but not sure if it will work properly until further testing tomorrow.  If anyone has the exact driver for SATA setup the laptop comes with a Mobile Intel GL960 Express Chipset on the spec sheet.  I couldn't find this exact model but something that looks very close.

Thanks again,
Shane
Try to change in BIOS the settings to IDE compatible mode. It could be that the hard drive settings are set to AHCI and you cannot boot because of this face. As soon as you change from AHCI to SATA\IDE mode then you should be able boot Windows.

"Windows 7"

You'll be much happier with Win7 over XP. Time to move on....
OK .. I've d/l the NLITE pgm (very cool) and the Intel Chipset drivers to access the SATA drive .. I have WIndows XP Prof installed and booting OK now. However, I also d/l the other XP drivers from the Toshiba website for this specific laptop and now several of them are NOT working .. like the graphics, NIC, wireless and sound.  I've installed ALL of the drivers from Toshiba's website and STILL cannot get them to work properly ... so what should I do now to get this system back in working order????

Thanks again,
Shane
got to device manager and delete the unknow devices and reboot it should fix that.

Does anyone know where I can find these XP Prof drivers for this laptop (Toshiba A205-S5804 ) which will work after the fresh XP installation has completed?  The drivers from the Toshiba website are NOT working so far.  The install instructions are very easy to follow and didn't show any error during the install process, but they are still not working.  I also don't have Internet access on this LT so I cannot get Windows Updates, etc.

Thanks,
Shane

I've already tried going to device manager and deleting the unknown devices .. when I reboot it finds them again but cannot locate the drivers.

Thanks anyway,
Shane
I finally found the correct drivers using the Google search engine and the system is back online now.
Thanks to EVERYONE for help with these issues.
