How do I set a parameter in Crystal Reports XI to accept NULL values?

I am building a report in Crystal Reports and have created two parameter fields with a data type of date.  I want to allow the entry of NULL values, however, Crystal won't allow this.  Is there something I'm not seeing?

No.
For 'optional'  parameters you need  CR2008.
For CR11 you have to provide values.
For dates you could perhaps consider 01/01/1900 as a default to represent 'all'.

Commented:
Allow Null Values (as opposed to Optional parameters) is available only for Stored Procedure parameters.
