Are you able to open the bluetooth manager from control panel?

Sometimes it opens, sometimes it doesnt. &nbsp;Isnt detecting any devices though. &nbsp;And I have a blackberry nearby thats discovering on another machine. &nbsp;

If it is right of out the box, press Fn-F5. A black dialogue box comes up. Make sure Bluetooth is powered ON. This is different than the physical switch (at least on my T61). ... Thinkpads_User<br />

Yep checked that already. &nbsp;Doesnt show anything about bluetooth just wireless.

I have an SL500 Lenovo laptop right out of box runnin XPSP3 and bluetooth manager does not come up. BTHPROPS.CPL does not run. &nbsp;Wireless switch is on. &nbsp;I have reinstalled the bluetooth drivers, as well as the power management drivers with no luck. &nbsp;Device manager shows everything OK.<br />

Anyone ever encounter this before? Any clues?<br />

I have an SL500 Lenovo laptop right out of box runnin XPSP3 and bluetooth manager does not come up. BTHPROPS.CPL does not run.  Wireless switch is on.  I have reinstalled the bluetooth drivers, as well as the power management drivers with no luck.  Device manager shows everything OK.
