ie 7 or ie 8? on domain or local?
You can get it from registry.
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\RunOnce
strat->run-> regedit
Then see the above hive in registry.

local:

The path is as follows: [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main]"RunOnceHasShown"=dword:00000001"RunOnceComplete"=dword:00000001

Go to Start>Run

Type in "regedit"

Drill down in the registry: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main

Change the value for "RunOnceHasShown" to "1"

Chnage the value for "RunOnceComplete" to "1"

This will remove the annoying IE7 "Run Once"

Not sure what the exact problem is, whether it's the runonce key that you're trying to remove for some reason.

Or is the problem that your IE always goes to runonce page?
If so, then you can prevent IE from going to the RunOnce page and cause it to go directly to your homepage by running this reg file and merge it with your registry.
