Problem installing Windows 2008 cluster

Hello, I am having a problem. I have created 2 LUNS on my equallogic SAN and set it up as shared storage. On server A I can run the iscsi initiator and configure the 2 LUNS perfectly, and assign drive letters.

Now I do the same on server B, but when I try to assign the drives Windows says the drives are reserved. This is for a SQL cluster so I need both servers to be able to read both LUNS. How do I get server B to connect to these drives?

Under the properties on the LUN on the equalogics make sure that it is setup for shared access. just right click the volume and hit modify volume settings.

yes, it is checked. there is a message that says:

"enable to the iscsi target from multiple initiators and do not and cannot use the same IQN and in an environment that uses SCSI reservations."

What do I do? I think I just have the cluster setup wrong on the 2 2008 servers. any ideas?

Well, hold on. First the disk needs to not be put in the cluster. I think that is your problem

YOu need to go into your cluster management. Make sure the disk says available. If it does not then that is your problem. It is only in reserve state when it is part of the cluster. So remove it from the cluster. Add the second server to it then make it available in the cluster.

I can go into cluster management and it shows both as being online, one server A I can see it in disk manager and assign it drive letters, on server B cluster manager shows it as online, but disk manager shows them as reserved and will not allow me to assign the drive letters or access the drives.

ok also, on server A, it shows the drives under storage, and if go under nodes I see both servers, server A lists the drives, server be only shows in in storage, but not under nodes > server B
