Testing B2D files getting Remote Agent Message

I have a Vitural 2003 box that has veritas 9.1 same as my original server.   I'm trying to test the b2d files and keep getting an error message that I need to install the remote agent.  However, when I try this through Tools/Serial Numbers and Installation, I don't have an option to install the remote agent.  I'm also a little confused at why it's asking this.  The virutal machine is running completely isolated from my domain and servers.  Ideally, I don't want to test this as a remote agent.  I'm testing this as a newly installed server recoverying from a disaster.

I also, don't want to test IDR just yet.  I just want to see files restored.  I've successfully cataloged and inventory my b2d files, so it seems a successfully restore is just a setting away...

What kind of information are you trying to restore?
What account is the Remote Agent running on the Backup Exec server?
Where is the B2D located?
If the original restore location is a remote server, it is trying to restore the file on that system. You would need to redirect the file to the local system if that is what you are trying to do. If you do not have remote agent license keys installed on the system, you can't install the remote agent.
