Hello,
I am using .htaccess

what i would like to do i instead of the apache popup have a form that submits instead.

Is this possible?

I have found a function that reads the .htpasswd and validate username and password, but not sure what to do from there so that the .htaccess file see the user as logged in.

I hope i am making sense

Thanks
Randy

Hi,

This may help you to solve your issue . It uses a PHP authentication with .htpasswd file (without using .htaccess file)

That does not work. Either you authenticate via apache's auth modules, or php. If you choose the latter one, you've to make sure that every request of subpages/images etc. passes your php login/session.
