Sun SPARC 32 bit booting
Friends,
Are all SPARC machine capable of booting into both 32 bit and 64 bit?
How do we find whether a SPARC machine is capable of booting in 32 bit.
Any pointers would be of great help. Please let me know if you need more specifics on this.

# isainfo -kv
64-bit sparcv9 kernel modules
# /usr/sbin/eeprom |grep boot-file
boot-file: data not available.
# uname -a
SunOS sid-sun10 5.10 Generic_139555-08 sun4u sparc SUNW,Sun-Fire-V210
Right now these machined are running on 64 bit, But how to find whether the m/c is capable of booting in both 32 or 64 bit?

32 bit machines can not run 64 bit OS. What is your system model?
ASKER
Sun-Fire-V210
It is capable of running 64 bit os
ASKER
Thankx. It is currently running with 64 bit OS (Which is fine).
My question is a little different. Would appreciate if you could let me know the following
- Is it possible to booth this Sun-Fire-V210 with 32 bit OS?
- If so, what would be the steps?
