Button does not work with MovieClip Over button

What: A rotating txt movieclip is above a button. The moveClip disrupts the mouse over button.

Where: The top right tab button.

i'm going to assume the issue is that you need to set the "mouseChildren" property equal to false on the button with the event attached to it.

is the looping animation inside the button that highlights or on top of it?

so then for the movieclip on top of the button, try setting its "mouseEnabled = false"
