I just installed an Iomega REV 120 SATA attached to a Silicone Image 3112 controller in my Small Business Server 2003.  The drive passes all the iomega diags howeveri cannot get Backup exec 10D to write a backup to the drive the status just says "Queued"  Currently i have the iomega drive setup as a Backup to disk folder as i cannot get Backupexec to directly support the drive after inthelling the latest driver pack.  Should i remove the windows drivers so backupexec can see the drive?

Any suggestions?

Thank you and have a great day

I'd check with Symantec to make sure this a supported device.  but in general BE has always wanted to install it's own drivers.

SBS Backup can work with the Rev Drive.   Run the SBS backup wizard and point it to your D: or E: drive.   Then Using NTBackup open the .bkf file created by the backup wizard and change the destination only to the your REV drive drive letter.
