I have a Cisco 3750G switch.  I was trying to use a TFTP server to load the correct version of the IOS so it will work in my stack.  However, I had to delete the flash and didn't realize it would reboot.  Now I am trying to do it from the console but I am not having any luck.  The file I have from Cisco when I previously did a tftp IOS is c3750-ipbase-MZ.122-25.SEB4.  Any suggestions?

plese read my link!!!

Step 1 Initialize the Flash file system:

switch: flash_init

Step 2 If you had set the console port speed to anything other than 9600, it has been reset to that particular speed. Change the emulation software line speed to match that of the switch console port.

Step 3 Load any helper files:

switch: load_helper

Step 4 Display the contents of Flash memory:

switch: dir flash:

So it was in the process of doing the copy of the ios and it just quit halfway through.  Now I can't even get into the switch via hyperterminal.

Thanks for all the help.  I tried it 3 times, trying to save time, I changed the baud rate to something faster as I had read in another article, however when I left the baud rate at 9600 it worked just took forever.  Thanks for all the help.

Sorry I didnt see you posts after mine (was sleeping)

I have had a lot of trouble with xmodem copies failing half way through. this seems to be an issue with the PC you are doing the copy from. I have noticed that using  my laptop it almost always works fine even at a higher speed. However my desktop always fails??

not sure why but something to be aware of, as I am sure you now are.
