Cant delete a user in Unity Connection Administration. I deleted the User in the Call Manager then I went to the Voicemail account andf tried to delete the user there in the Unity Connection Administration :: Users tool, but I get the message :
" The user is the message recipeint for a system call handler or system call handler template.
This user is integrated with a Cisco Unified Communications Manager end user. Some fields may be disabled."

I have checked and this user is not associated to any call handlers. The extension is 1000 for the user and that is not set as a recipient on any of the Call Handlers that are setup in the system.

Have you checked any distribution lists? They may be included on a list that is assigned to a call handler.  They may be the only in the list and that could be causing the issue.

I have checked the "system distribution lists" and there are no associations to the users DTMF access ID (Extension) of 1000.  Do you think it may have something to do with the order I deleted the users from teh Call manager and then triying to delete it out of Unity?  We actually have on ly 3 distribution lists "UndeliveralbleMessages" no DTMF  "AllVoiceMailUsers" DTMF: 99991 "AllVoicemailEnabledContacts" DTMF: 99992..  Your help is appreciated. Thanks.

Thanks for the help. You got me looking in the right directions. IT was infact that the user was the Voice Mailbox recipient  user under the "Message Recipient" for the "message settings" for one of the call handlers. Makes sense. She was the main receptionist for the group so the call handler prompts to hit 2 to speak to the receptionist.  Thanks for the help.
