Access shared folders on Windows Server 2008 from Mac OS9?

I have an old Mac workstation running OS9, and I need to get it to access a file share on Windows Server 2008 Standard. I was successful with OSX, but OS9 doesn't seem to have the capability. Just curious if anyone has ever been successful with this?

Note: This workstation CANNOT be upgraded to OSX due to some very old, very expensive software that is installed on it (and of course it is not available anymore).

I was under the impression that Samba was not supported with Server 2008. To answer your question though, I do not have Samba installed.

Let me ask again, if you run the below command on mac os what do you get

find / -name smbclient

You may use NFS to access windows folders but you need Windows services for unix installed and configured on windows server
