I have a Dell Dimension Server Model 800.  It works fine but is beeping about every 3 to 5 seconds.  Can you help me figure out what that is?  Please give me step by step instructions.  Thank you for your time.

Most likely it's the memory issue. Try to reseat your memory and any other PCI then reboot your server it will solve your problem. You can read the following link to understand the Dell's beep codes

Other thing you can do is look in your Server manager to see if there is any HW failure. Sometime, a failed hard drive will cause the beeps, too. Also, check your Event Viewer to see if there is any indications.

If you have a redundant power supply setup (ie. 2 connections for power at the back of the case) and one of them is left unplugged it will whinge at you like you have mentioned until you plug in the second one and have power running to both.
